OpenAI will turn ChatGPT into an AI search engine

The American company OpenAI, engaged in developments in the field of artificial intelligence, is developing an Internet search function for its chatbot ChatGPT. This was reported by the Bloomberg news agency.

The ChatGPT search engine will be able to find information of interest to users from the Internet along with links to sources such as Wikipedia and blog posts.

The algorithm will also be able to provide suitable images along with the text response in cases. For example, if a user asks how to replace a doorknob, the response could be an image illustrating the process of solving this problem.

OpenAI intends to compete in the field of web search with Google and search startup Perplexity, owned by Alphabet.
