The winners of the international essay competition announced by the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan are known


The results of the international essay competition on the topic “The importance of international humanitarian law in maintaining peace and security on the planet”, which was announced by the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan among students of higher educational institutions of Central Asian countries, have been summed up.
First place in the competition was won by a student of the International University for Humanities and Development Merdan Charyev, a student of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly Nurana Rejepgulyeva and a student of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic named after K. Dikambaev Adeli Raimkulova.
Five participants took second place - students of the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after M. Garryev and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, students of the Tajik National University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent.
“Bronze” of the competition was won by 8 participants, including students from the Turkmen State Institute of Finance, the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the International University for Humanities and Development, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and the Tajik National University.
An independent competition jury assessed the participants' knowledge in the field of international humanitarian law, the originality of the idea, the correspondence of the content of the work to the declared topic of the competition and the quality of presentation.
