The Ambassador of India to Turkmenistan met with delegates of the India-Central Asia forum
Ambassador of India to Turkmenistan Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat met with members of the delegation of Turkmenistan that visited India to participate in the India-Central Asia youth forum.
The forum took place from March 4 to March 14, 2024. Their visit helps deepen cultural ties and develop future leaders committed to promoting peace and understanding.
Participants representing different spheres of society, including education, culture, media, felt the unified rhythm of Indian life, got acquainted with the rich traditions and culture of this country, and tasted national dishes. Along with representatives from other Central Asian countries, they visited cultural sites in India and met with heads and representatives of various institutions in the country, including the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs.
In her address to the members of the delegation, the Ambassador expressed hope for further improvement of India’s relations with the countries of the region, including Turkmenistan in the field of youth policy.
