Trading on SCRMET: demand for petrochemical products


On Thursday, April 25, during trading at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, petrochemical products were in great demand.
Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan, Malta, the United Arab Emirates, Germany and Turkey entered into deals with the State Concerns “Turkmennebit” and “Turkmenhimiya” for the purchase of “B” grade carbamide, hydrotreated diesel fuel, low-sulfur heating oil and “SN-180” grade base oil.
Representatives of business circles of Turkmenistan purchased “TPP D 30 S” grade polypropylene from the State Concern “Turkmennebit”.
During the auction, 9 transactions were concluded for a total amount of 3,168, 000.00 manats and $53,500,000.
