Children from Turkmenistan presented Turkish President Erdogan with takhya and dutar


Children brought up in the Ashgabat Palace “Döwletliler köşgi” visited Turkey and took part in cultural events in the cities of Ankara and Istanbul. Their trip was organized with the support of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation to help children in need of care.

As part of the events that took place in Turkey on the occasion of National Sovereignty and Children's Day on April 23, participants and guests of the TRT children's festival from Turkic countries met with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The students of the Palace “Döwletliler köşgi” expressed sincere gratitude to the president of the fraternal country for the hospitality on Turkish land, performed poems in Turkish and presented Erdogan with a takhya - a national skullcap and a dutar.

The head of Turkey thanked the guys and also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and all Turkmen people. This was reported in the news release of the Turkmen State Radio and Television.
The meeting took place at the official residence of the Turkish President in Ankara.
