The Turkmen delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Education visited Astrakhan State University


A Turkmen delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Education Alexander Amanov, who arrived in the Astrakhan region to participate in the celebrations on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly, visited Astrakhan State University named after V. N. Tatishchev on Monday.
The guests were accompanied by Maria Shalak, Minister of Education and Science of the Astrakhan Region, and Ilya Toropitsyn, Deputy Minister of External Relations of the region.
The study tour began with a visit to professional scientific centers. For example, Alexander Treshchev, Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Engineering Technologies, spoke about modeling the welding process in virtual reality, which allows you to practice skills an unlimited number of times and save materials.
The next structural unit, where the delegation went, was the laboratory "Biomechanics of Motion and Artificial Intelligence", where the guests were shown Motion Capture technology ("mockup"), which is a system of three- dimensional data analysis, which through a special application allows you to directly see the skeleton of any person. Through graphs, it is possible to diagnose diseases, as well as identify the athletic abilities of young talents.

Representatives of the Turkmen delegation also learned about the logistical potential of the university. The staff of the Faculty of Economics and Management showed an automated warehouse and talked about the work in the field of logistics, which consists in reducing transport costs.
Representatives of the Caspian Higher School of Translation shared the news about receiving a grant for the implementation of educational programs for the study of Kazakh and Azerbaijani languages, and talked about teaching sign language in Russian. The participants of the tour noted the equipping of the school with equipment for honing the skills of future translators.
After visiting the ASU scientific library, the guests learned about the possibilities of free use of electronic resources, participation in thematic exhibitions and regular educational conferences. During the tour, the delegates visited the student event "Socio-political problems of modern society".

The work of the Center of the Turkmen Language and Culture was highlighted especially as part of the acquaintance with the university. It has created comfortable conditions for introducing students to the values of the Turkmen people.
In addition, during the visit of the delegation to ASU, working issues related to the preparation of applicants for study at Astrakhan State University, the adaptation of Turkmen students and the implementation of joint educational programs were discussed. During the meeting, the university staff discussed with representatives of Turkmenistan options for creating language training courses for Turkmen applicants.
"Without basic language training, mastering a particular specialty is almost impossible. From our side, we will send teachers and coordinate everything with the ministry," promised Saparmyrat Hydyrov, head of the department of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi.
"This will be a good social, I would even say, interstate project that can be replicated and then cited as an example of successful cooperation," said Acting Rector of ASU Igor Alekseev.
This year, the government of the Astrakhan region is implementing a program related to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy. As the head of ASU noted, representatives of the university are glad to take part in this project, holding a scientific and creative evening dedicated to the memory of the poet.

Schoolchildren from Turkmenistan performed at the event, they read poems by the Turkmen thinker, performed national songs and dances. The final number was the performance of the student folk art ensemble "Ethnosphere" of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology, Hospitality and Sports of ASU.
