Astrakhan will host next week delegates of the III International Forum “Transport Logistics of the Caspian Region 2024”, including industry companies from Turkmenistan, including JSC Maritime Merchant Fleet.

On the plenary day of the forum, reports are expected from transport industry professionals: representatives of private business, specialized associations and government bodies. The event is expected to be attended by more than 300 representatives of seaports, terminals, forwarders, logistics companies, cargo owners, shipowners, shipbuilders, specialized associations, investment companies, government agencies and local administrations.

During the event, it is planned to discuss the prospects for the development of the Volga-Caspian transport and logistics ecosystem and the North-South international transport corridor, in which Turkmenistan plays the role of a transit hub.

The agenda of the forum will also include issues of Caspian transport logistics in the context of the transformation of international economic relations, export of agricultural products of the Caspian countries, modernization of the infrastructure of ports on the Volga and Caspian Sea.
