A chamber music concert was successfully held at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after May Kulieva. It is the second in a series of concerts dedicated to the year of Magtymguly. Its organizer is Stella Faramazova, a senior teacher at the conservatory and a winner of international competitions. The program of the musical evening included works by Turkmen authors.

Composer Aina Shirova opened the musical concert with music. The piece “Walking in the Rain” for string quintet, light and graceful, set the mood for the evening. This work was once created for the repertoire of the famous violin ensemble “Mukam”. Shirova specially arranged this work for the quintet, which includes Aibolek Mukhieva, Seyran Ataniyazov, Elman Nasyrov, Kakageldy Khojalekov and Stella Faramazova. Each of them is already a star in his own right, and together they form a unique creative team, whose equal is difficult to find.

– I am proud that my music sounds in honor of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly. And the fact that the concert was opened with this particular composition is very responsible and honorable for me,” Aina Shirova said. “With a calm soul I trusted the professionalism of the musicians - they have both skill and taste.

Then the concert continued with works by classical composers Nury Halmamedov, Chary Nurymov, Adrian Shaposhnikov and other masters. The musicians played so passionately that the spellbound listeners were in no hurry to leave after the concert.

– Today we heard a brilliant, one might even say, standard sound of classical works, everything sounded so polished and filigree. What grace in execution! What a technique! – listeners shared these impressions.

The third concert in the series of musical evenings dedicated to Magtymguly will take place very soon - on April 27. Its program will feature chamber instrumental and vocal music. Don't miss this event!
