Turkmen specialists study Japanese experience in the field of seismic safety

Specialists from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan were invited to participate in the seminar.

Japan, being one of the most seismically active countries on Earth, has developed many technologies and measures to mitigate the effects of earthquakes. The experience and expertise of Japanese specialists in the field of seismic safety are an invaluable source of knowledge for the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus.

Japanese experts provide an extensive analysis of modern technical prospects for seismic isolation, including world standards in this area. They will highlight advanced methods and technologies used in Japan to create earthquake-resistant structures, and will display examples of basic insulation designs that are a model for the global construction industry.
