Kyrgyzstan plans to build a large land railway port, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan reports.

This issue was discussed during a meeting of a delegation from Kyrgyzstan led by President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic Temir Sariev with the management of the Xi'an Land Railway Port.

It is there that large trade flows are formed: China - Central Asia, China - Russia, China - Europe.

“Given that the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway will begin in the near future, the management of the Xi’an port is interested in the construction of an equally large port on the territory of Kyrgyzstan,” the message says.

This issue was also raised during negotiations between the heads of Kyrgyzstan and China.
