Lyudmila Renne, Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Projects and International Cooperation of Russian Railways, spoke in favor of reviving the previously popular Moscow-Ashgabat passenger railway. This is what TASS writes about.

"I am only in favor," she said, answering a question from journalists on the sidelines of a meeting of the Board of Governors and responsible representatives of the railway transport of the ORC member countries, which is being held in Ashgabat for the first time, Russian news agencies reported.

Rene also thanked the Turkmen leadership for the excellent organization of the event. "I would like to note that the Turkmen side has very actively joined the ORC and now occupies almost a leading position in participating in agreements and treaties," she added.
