Applications for the Seeds of Wisdom: Lessons from Great Minds project competition are being accepted
The start of accepting applications for the contest of videos or presentations "Seeds of Wisdom: Lessons of great minds", dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet, philosopher Magtymguly Pyragy, has been announced.
The Organizing Committee of the VIII Moscow International Art Festival "Sounds of Dutar" named after Nury Halmamedov announced the start of accepting applications for the contest of videos or presentations "Seeds of Wisdom: Lessons of great Minds" dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet, philosopher Magtymguly Pyragy.
The competition is aimed at attracting students of secondary and higher educational institutions to solve the problem of introducing children of secondary schools to the heights of literary and musical creativity of different peoples on the example of the life and work of Magtymguly.
Applications for the competition will be accepted until September 1, 2024.
Thematic areas of the competition:
1.Music and poetry in the works of Magtymguly
2.Philosophy and educational activities of Magtymguly
3.The image of Magtymguly in contemporary art
4.Magtymguly and A.A. Tarkovsky
The jury will evaluate the work of the participants according to the following criteria:
1.Content, historical authenticity
2.Colorfulness and stylistic authenticity of the design
3.The originality of the presentation of the material
4.Use of copyrighted works
The results of the competition will be summed up on October 29. The announcement of the results will take place at the Russian State Library, Pashkov House, in the concert hall of the Department of Musical Publications and Sound Recordings, during the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Magtymguly and his role in world culture".
The results are published on the website of the Sounds of Dutar Festival.
