Chengdu awaits Turkmen citizens at the International Horticultural Exhibition
The Chinese city of Chengdu, located in Sichuan province in the southwest of the country, invites foreign guests, including representatives of Turkmenistan, to the International Horticultural Exhibition.
The exhibition will run from April 26 to October 28. It will showcase a variety of horticultural crops from China and around the world.
Over two thousand different events are planned during the 186-day event.
In preparation for the upcoming exhibition and to create convenience for foreign visitors, the city has comprehensively improved services in various areas, ranging from simplifying entry and exit procedures, payments and ending with healthcare services.
All 113 exhibition park areas and six main pavilions on the main square have already been built. Construction work has also been completed at four branches of the exhibition.
The Wenjiang branch of the exhibition will feature Sichuan-style bonsai, agronomy will take center stage in the Xinjin branch, and the Pidu County branch will focus on the flower industry. Another branch site in Qionglai will be dedicated to the topic of biodiversity.
Visitors can also enjoy theatrical performances and tasting of local dishes.
