A mobile application for money transfers to charity will be launched in Turkmenistan
A mobile application for non-cash transfer of funds to charity has been developed in Turkmenistan. This was reported at a meeting of the Turkmen government on April 12, as reported in the news release of Turkmen television and radio channels on Friday.
The application was developed at the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank "Senagat" and provides a convenient platform for donations to the account of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation to assist children in need of care.
The Foundation regularly provides financial assistance for operations on children, treatment of young patients raised in orphanages, specialized schools and boarding schools, as well as for the purchase of medical supplies. With the support of the Foundation, humanitarian assistance was also provided to a number of states.
