A law on the heritage of Magtymguly Fragi will be developed in Turkmenistan

This was announced by Chairman of the Mejlis, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, at a meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan on Friday, April 12.

The speaker of the national parliament informed that today the working commissions of the Mejlis are preparing drafts of a new edition of the Civil Code and the law on the cultural heritage of Magtymguly Fragi. Time-demanded changes and additions are also being made to the laws on physical culture and sports, and on seed production.

Celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Turkmen classical poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi is included in the UNESCO List of Significant Dates in 2024-2025.
