The Mayor of Ashgabat, Rahym Gandymov, was severely reprimanded with a final warning about correcting the shortcomings as soon as possible. The decree of the President of Turkmenistan on this was published in the news release of the Turkmen State Television.
The message says that a strict reprimand was announced to the mayor "for improper performance of official duties, weakening of control over subordinate structures, as well as shortcomings in carrying out landscaping and cleaning works in the city of Ashgabat."
