The Turkmen Ambassador discussed prospects for cooperation with the Executive Director of the Central Asia-China Secretariat
Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China Parahat Durdyev met with Executive Director of the Central Asia-China Secretariat Wu Yingqing.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the upcoming activities of the Secretariat during the transition period. In particular, participation in the third round of consultations of the Secretariat this month in the city of Xi’an, a meeting of the foreign ministers of the participating countries of this structure in the second half of this year.
Taking this opportunity, Wu Yingqin expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for participation in the opening ceremony of the Secretariat on March 30, 2024 and the congratulatory message from the head of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The Turkmen diplomat, in turn, spoke about the main directions of the strategic partnership of Turkmenistan with China on a bilateral basis, as well as on a multilateral basis - within the framework of the Central Asia - China format. Parahat Durdyev also proposed holding events this year in honor of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly.
