Turkmen and Panamanian diplomats in Moscow spoke in favor of intensifying cooperation


Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Moscow Esen Aydogdiyev met on Tuesday, April 9, with Ambassador of the Republic of Panama to the Russian Federation Rolando Enrique Barrow.
The Turkmen Ambassador congratulated his Panamanian counterpart on his recent accreditation in Turkmenistan and wished him success in his work.
Rolando Enrique Barrow shared his impressions of the trip to Turkmenistan, noting the productive nature of the meetings held in Ashgabat, the cordiality and hospitality of the host party.
The diplomats exchanged views on the development of bilateral dialogue, the possibilities of intensifying political and diplomatic cooperation, according to the website of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.
The high level of mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries in the international arena, primarily in the UN, was noted, in connection with which Esen Aydogdiyev expressed gratitude for Panama's co-sponsorship of the draft resolution of the UN General Assembly initiated by Turkmenistan declaring 2025 the International Year of Peace and Trust.
At the same time, it was noted that relations between Turkmenistan and Panama have great potential, including in such areas as the economy, trade, cultural, humanitarian and tourism spheres.
The heads of the Turkmen and Panamanian diplomatic missions in Moscow agreed to continue working contacts.
