Turkmen weightlifter Davranbek Hasanbaev won a license for the Olympic Games in Paris

Weightlifter from Turkmenistan Davranbek Khasanbaev received a license for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The gold medal won by the Turkmenistan at the World Weightlifting Cup in Phuket secured his ticket to the upcoming prestigious tournament.

Competing in the weight category up to 102 kg, Davranbek lifted a total of 392 kg: 187 kg in the snatch and 205 kg in the clean and jerk.

The Weightlifting World Cup is the final qualifying tournament for the Paris Olympics, which will take place from July 26 to August 11. The World Cup will last until April 11.
