Paralimpic athelets, winners of the World Powerlifting Cup in Dubai, were honored in Ashgabat
At a gala event held on World Health Day at the Martial Arts Sports Complex of the Olympic Village in Ashgabat, the winners of international sports competitions were presented with valuable gifts on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Among them are Turkmen parapowerlifters who took part in the World Cup in Dubai, UAE, from February 25 to March 8 this year and showed outstanding achievements.
Here are the names of these Paralympic athletes: Muhammet Khojaev, Roza Matyakubova, Ishkuvvat Chariev and Bayramgeldi Saparov. They deservedly accepted congratulations and awards, proving that, despite their limited health capabilities, they are real fighters!
