The Turkic Academy in Astana noted the importance of the book by the President of Turkmenistan on the Anew


The presentation of the book by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov "Anew – culture from the depths of millennia" was held at the Turkic Academy in Astana.
The event was attended by Vice-President of the Turkic Academy Askhat Kesikbayev, Ambassador of Turkmenistan Batyr Rejepov, senior expert of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KISI) under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhit Asanbayev and senior researcher at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanat Momynkulov and others. Among the invited were also representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Astana, scientific and creative intelligentsia, and the media.

Vice-President of the Turkic Academy Askhat Kesikbayev conveyed a congratulatory message on behalf of the President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev on the occasion of the publication of a new book and stressed the importance of scientific cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan in promoting a common historical heritage.
The city of Anau was awarded the status of the cultural capital of the Turkic world this year by the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY). At the same time, this year marks the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Turkmen classic Magtymguly Pyragy.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Batyr Rejepov donated a new book highlighting the cultural heritage of the Anew to the library fund of the Turkic Academy.
The book, published in Turkmen, English and Russian, includes three chapters: "The uniqueness of the ancient Anew", "Historical events linking the epochs" and "Continuation of the glorious path of the ancient Anew in the Ahal land".
