The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia will pay a visit to Turkmenistan


Chairman of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili will visit Turkmenistan as part of an official visit to the Central Asian region. Information about this was disseminated by the press service of the Georgian parliament.
It is reported that the Speaker of the parliament will hold high-level meetings with the heads of legislative and executive authorities of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
"The parliamentary delegation headed by Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili includes: Kakha Kakhishvili, head of the friendship group with the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Chairman of the Committee for Regional Policy and Self-government; David Matikashvili, head of the friendship group with the Parliament of Turkmenistan, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Legal Affairs; Irakli Mesurnishvili, head of the friendship group with the Parliament of Uzbekistan, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Culture; Baya Kvitsyan, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science and Youth Affairs of the Parliament of Georgia; Anton Obolashvili, Member of the Parliament of Georgia, member of the Finance and Budget Committee; Sozar Subari, member of the Committee on Agrarian Issues."
The visit will end on April 13, the press service of the parliament noted.
