Turkey has introduced a visa regime for citizens of Tajikistan

From April 20, a visa regime to Turkey will begin to operate for citizens of Tajikistan, the state agency of Tajikistan “Khovar” reports with reference to the Ministry of foreign affairs of the republic.
A decree abolishing the visa-free regime for citizens of Tajikistan holding ordinary foreign passports was signed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
This measure was adopted on the basis of the law on foreigners.
The Turkish Embassy in Tajikistan called the abolition of the visa-free regime a temporary measure, adding that citizens who use Turkey as transit will be able to travel without a visa.
Previously, citizens of Tajikistan could enter Turkey without a visa and stay there for up to 90 days.
