“Top Three” with a plus, or the results of the Francophonie essay competition

Well, the illusory fanfare has died down and the imaginary red carpets have been rolled up after the award ceremony of the French language competition - Francophonie. Whether it went well or not is another question. We want to focus your attention on the essay competition. Perhaps this is the only Francophonie competition where, in addition to perfect knowledge of the French language, candidates also need to have creative abilities. In other words, it’s almost a literary competition, but in a small format.
Within a few hours, participants, under the supervision of observers, had to write an essay on a given topic. This year the theme was related to the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Needless to say, without a basic arsenal of certain skills and knowledge in the literary field, it is almost impossible to win this competition.
Organize the text correctly, write it so that it is coherent and logical, with interesting twists and unusual literary moves, and also be able to express your thoughts on paper clearly, simply and intelligibly... It is clear that these skills cannot be “pumped up” like muscles through training. It also requires the presence of such “skills” as the ability to think outside the box, the ability to see the unusual in the ordinary, your own author’s style, and, of course, courage.
Who are the top three? This year, the entire podium was occupied by young representatives of the fair sex - Aysenem Saparova, Myakhri Mamedova and Maya Ballyeva.
All three laureates are students of Aina Shirova, one of the best French teachers in the country. By the way, last year her students also received all the prizes in the essay competition.
Following the catchphrase that you need to know heroes by sight, ORIENT decided to introduce readers to the winners of the essay competition and compiled their creative portraits, based on reviews from their friends and relatives. So, the top three, with a quality mark, with a plus sign.

Aysenem Saparova - first place winner. Future foreign language teacher. She is a sweet and smiling girl, but where it is necessary, she can show a “reinforced concrete” character. According to her relatives, she is a reliable and devoted friend. To paraphrase a well-known saying, one would like to say: “You can definitely cook porridge with it,” or rather, “onion soup.” With her will to win and determination, she managed to achieve a lot. She shared that she plans to write a book in the future about methods of teaching French to children. Bravo, Aysenem!

Myakhri - second place - 3rd year student of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management. Marie (this is how her name is pronounced in French) speaks several languages. Active, very collected and responsible. Always knows what she wants and where she is going. Recently, she successfully passed one of the most difficult French language exams, DALF C1. For those to whom this abbreviation does not mean anything, let us explain that having a C1 level diploma allows you to enroll in the Faculty of Journalism in France. It is there, in France, that Myahri plans to continue her studies. She wants to combine her future profession as an economist with her love of the French language. And someday she will definitely succeed.

Maya is the third place winner. Five minutes to a French teacher. One hundred percent positive! Likes to joke and be ironic, including at herself. Most recently, she took part in another literary competition, where her work was among the best. By the way, Maya will make a wonderful teacher, since all the children around her simply adore her. Maya herself develops and comes up with linguistic children's games that help in mastering French grammar.
It's nice to know that we are witnessing the birth of new stars in home pedagogy, science, and maybe even literature. Just in case, let's remember the names of our heroines. Probably, very soon we will learn about their new achievements and successes. So, let's leave the topic open. And, as the French say “à suivre”, that is, to be continued...
