The first domestic payment terminal was developed in “Agzybirlik tilsimaty”
The pavilion of the joint venture “Agzybirlik tilsimaty” of the Center for Computer Technologies of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations became one of the most popular among visitors to the exhibition of the Trade and Industrial Complex of Turkmenistan taking place in Ashgabat.
Not only Turkmen citizens lingered at the exhibition presented here, but also foreign guests who arrived in Ashgabat or work here, like a well-known married couple in the country who often take part in the most interesting events held in the country - US Ambassador Matthew Steven Klimow and his wife Eddie Gunnels.
Finally, among the visitors I manage to identify the owners, and I ask one of them – Mekan Eeberdyev, project manager of the company “Agzybirlik tilsimaty”.
– Why does the exhibition you presented arouse such interest among visitors to the exhibition?
-The pavilion attracts attention because our company, which produces high- tech products, is known for producing banking and computer equipment, as well as special kits for e-sports competitions, which are gaining enormous popularity around the world. Also, apparently, due to the fact that we tried to make our pavilion innovative and technological, in accordance with the concept of our joint venture.
...However, not completely satisfied with the answer, I continue to ask:
– Which of your company’s products is currently the most relevant for the Turkmen market?
– Much of what our enterprise produces finds its buyer not only in Turkmenistan, but also abroad. One of our latest projects is the AT-Töleg payment terminal, which is the first mobile cash register that accepts bank cards and has a fiscal drive (a device for encrypting and protecting data on calculations made by a cash register machine. The device records and stores information without the ability to enter changes and delete it - editor's note) .
This terminal, which meets all the requirements of international security standards, supports such international bank payments as Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, etc. And, of course, the terminal provides the opportunity to make bank transfers on the internal payment system of Turkmenistan using cards from Altyn Asyr, Vnesheconombank and Rysgal Bank.
– What software does the terminal operate on? – I ask my interlocutor. But at this moment, the founder of the joint venture “Agzybirlik tilsimaty” Khanmammet Mollakov joins the conversation.
– In any information system, software is the most important component, so we have developed our own software. The AT-Töleg payment terminal was created so that our country also has a competitive product in the field of banking technologies.
...From the story of my interlocutor, I learn that the software developed by specialists makes it possible to keep records of goods or services directly in a mobile cash register or by connecting to the database of a retail network via software and the Internet.
The “AT-Söwda” software records every item that passes through the cash register, with the help of which the cashier can read the purchase price and accept payment from customers. And although I am a person far from the technologies that permeate our lives, I still ask Khanmammed Mollakov:
– What other advantages will your development provide for domestic users?
– Previously, when information about each purchase was recorded on an electronic tape, the entrepreneur took it out of the cash register once a year and
took it to the tax service. And our payment terminal, recording information about each purchase in the fiscal storage device, immediately redirects it via the Internet to the fiscal data operator, who, having processed it, transfers it to the tax office. This eliminates the need for many paper procedures - as soon as the cashier issues a check, the information is immediately sent to the tax service via the Internet.
This mobile cash register, accepting all types of card payments, fits well with a variety of types of mobile commerce - online stores, retail outlets, etc., allowing you to keep records of goods or services directly at the mobile cash register or through a connection to the database of a trading network with using software and the Internet.
In addition, the fiscal drive allows you to print out reporting receipts, transfer all types of reports to the taxpayer’s personal account in electronic format via a secure data channel, and store information for one and a half to three years.
The founder of the joint venture “Agzybirlik tilsimaty” believes that great convenience is associated with the fact that the “AT-Söwda” application provides the opportunity to set up a cash register for any type of business, synchronize the application with the product catalog, quickly find what you need in an extensive list of products, allows in real time see objective information about completed transactions in the store, and also promptly prepare reports. And these are not all the advantages that the use of the AT-Töleg payment terminal represents.
“We cooperate with well-known European companies, and we plan to use their technologies to produce our terminal in Turkmenistan,” Khanmammet continues.
From what I heard from the specialists of “Agzybirlik tilsimaty” it became clear to me why their pavilion at the exhibition of the Trade and Industrial Complex of Turkmenistan was one of the most popular. And not only among fellow businessmen, but also among foreigners.

Thus, these days, for the first time, competitions in the fidget format are being held in Turkmenistan, and the company, which name in translation means “Unified Technologies,” is their general sponsor.
