The new Ambassador of Slovenia presented her credentials to the Speaker of the Turkmen Parliament


The new Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Turkmenistan, with residence in Moscow, Daria Bavdazh Kuret, presented her credentials to the Chairman of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova.
During the meeting on Wednesday, April 3, the Speaker of the National Parliament, on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, congratulated the Slovenian diplomat on his appointment and wished him success in strengthening friendly relations between the two countries.
Speaking about the future of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Slovenia, the Ambassador noted that her country is very interested in strengthening bilateral relations in all spheres, according to the website of the Mejlis.
The parties also noted the results achieved in cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as at the parliamentary level.
Daria Bavdazh Kuret was also received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan today, where she met with Deputy Foreign Minister Myakhri Byashimova.
The diplomats discussed the agenda of Turkmen-Slovenian relations covering various areas of interstate cooperation. It was noted that cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Slovenia is developing on the basis of the principles of mutual respect, equality and mutually beneficial partnership.
The issues of holding a regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen- Slovenian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, as well as inter- ministerial political consultations, were considered.
