Turkmen Ambassador to the EU met with the head of the consulting company Polint
Turkmen Ambassador to the European Union Sapar Palvanov met with Glyn Ford, founder and executive director of the influential consulting company Polint, specializing in international relations of the European Union.
The parties reviewed the current status of bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union, which today are opening new horizons of interaction. In this context, the interlocutors paid attention to such priority aspects as energy, transport, green energy, education, climate and digitalization.
The possibility of establishing formal relations between Polint and Turkmen strategic institutions was also discussed, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belgium reports.
Glyn Ford leads a multinational team with over 40 years of experience in the field. He was a Member of the European Parliament from 1984 to 2009 and therefore has exceptional knowledge of the functioning of the EP and other European institutions, legislative processes and political intricacies in the EU, as well as experience in foreign affairs and trade with a focus on Asia.
Polint is involved both in research related to opinion formation in the European Parliament on a wide range of issues, and in developing strategies for the EP and EC, which can also expand to include member states and other international players. The company also has an extensive set of high-level political contacts in East Asia and the Pacific.
