Turkmen people express their support to the Russian people

A lot of people came to the Russian Embassy in Ashgabat today to express their support for the Russian people who survived the monstrous terrorist attack.

Among the first was Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.

In the morning, the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan also came to the Russian Embassy to support their Russian colleagues during these days of mourning.

Residents and guests of the capital brought mainly red carnations and roses and yellow flowers, which are associated with the expression of deep heartfelt feelings and sad farewell. And they also brought children's toys...

At the call of their hearts, ordinary Ashgabat residents came to the Russian embassy – people of different nationalities, ages and faiths.
Both Christian and Muslim prayers could be heard here.

Everyone who came here sincerely hopes that their support and wishes will help the families and friends of the victims who suffered as a result of the terrorist attack in Krasnogorsk's Crocus City Hall, as well as the entire Russian people in this difficult time.

Those who came, laying flowers at the symbolic memorial in memory of the innocent victims of the terrorist attack, left their notes in the book of condolences, sharing their pain and heavy feelings with Russian citizens.

Since yesterday morning, people have been coming to the Russian House in the center of the Turkmen capital, where a spontaneous memorial has also been formed with bouquets tied with mourning ribbons and soft toys.

The terrible tragedy in Krasnogorsk near Moscow shocked the Turkmen people to the depths of their souls, but at the same time strengthened their faith in the strength and resilience of the Russian multinational people, their spirit, which cannot be broken, even by such vile attacks.

By sending words of support and solidarity to the Russians in this sad hour, the Turkmen people wish them courage and indomitable will.
And so that children never ask adults: "Is it true that peace on Earth will come soon?"

In the Church of the Holy Blessed Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky in Ashgabat, the rector, Father John, held a prayer service for the health of the victims and a memorial service for the victims of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall.
