Turkmen students in Astrakhan celebrate Novruz with peers from different countries
The Consulate of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan took part in a festive concert dedicated to the International Novruz Day. The event was held at the Astrakhan State University named after V.N.Tatishchev on Wednesday, March 20.
The guests were presented with an exhibition where students from different countries organized their national stands.
At the site, prepared by students from Turkmenistan with the assistance of the consulate, visitors got acquainted with folk traditions and modern economic achievements of our country, admired handmade carpets, national clothes, skillful embroideries of Turkmen craftsmen and incomparable silver jewelry.
A special place is given to the books of the national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the exposition was also supplemented by other informative and illustrative materials about Turkmenistan.
In addition, at the festive concert, Turkmen students performed national songs and, of course, the incendiary dance "kushtdepdi". Songs of different peoples were also performed on the stage and choreographic performances based on folklore motifs were shown. The program, prepared by ASU students, gave the audience a lot of bright emotions and a spring mood.
