The international conference “Magtymguly and his role in world culture” invites participants
The international scientific and practical conference “Magtymguly and his role in world culture” invites figures of science, culture and art, teachers of universities, secondary specialized educational institutions, doctoral students, graduate students, undergraduates and students.
The forum dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet, philosopher Magtymguly Fragi will be held as part of the VIII Moscow International Arts Festival “Sounds of Dutar” named after Nury Halmamedov on October 29 at the chamber hall of the music department of the Russian State Library.
The International Arts Festival “Sounds of Dutar” named after Nury Halmamedov has been held since 2015. The purpose of the festival is to revive the international dialogue of cultures, integrate national music into the treasury of world musical culture, promote the development of cooperation between musicians from different countries, preserve, develop and popularize traditional cultures and art of different peoples. A special feature of the festival is the desire to demonstrate the mutual enrichment and interconnection of various types of art based on ethnocultural traditions and their connection with folk, European and world culture as a whole.
The mission of the festival is enlightenment, i.e. introducing the younger generation to the best world examples of creative activity of each people, as an integral part of world culture.
You can learn to appreciate culture only on the basis of understanding the cultural code, which is a kind of key to understanding the culture of peoples and their unique characteristics. Literature, music, folk art, and painting make a particularly significant contribution to the formation of the code. In this regard, it is the prominent representatives and works of culture that are important.
The conference “Magtymguly and his role in world culture” will be devoted to the problems of preserving the cultural code of peoples and intercultural integration to create sustainable development of the world community and preserve its integrity. In this process, art, as a phenomenon that organizes life, manifests itself in various forms (music, literature, painting, etc.), is defined as a social, historical-social and theoretical-social phenomenon, directly involved in the education and formation of an integral harmonious personality. The issues of formation of the integrity of society and the cultural code of the peoples of Russia, the CIS countries and the world on the basis of familiarization with world art through socio-cultural activities are subject to consideration.
The topics of this conference are very diverse. It affects various spheres of human activity in art, education, and science. Various aspects of the influence of music in different periods of musical history and its interaction with other forms of art are brought up for discussion. The issues of education of general culture in general primary and secondary schools are raised on the basis of music education and acquaintance with the treasures of world culture.
