The Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan considered proposals for exchanges with Turkmenistan


The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Bishkek, Nury Golliev, met on Wednesday, March 20, with the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, Dogdurkul Kendirbayeva.
The diplomat and the minister discussed current areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan in the field of education and science, speaking in favor of expanding ties and searching for new formats of interaction.
In particular, the issues of organizing lectures on cultural values and outstanding personalities of the two countries in schools and universities were discussed. In this context, it is proposed to conduct a course of optional classes on the study of the heritage of Magtymguly Pyragy in educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan, which will promote academic exchange and strengthen cultural ties between the two countries.
Topical topics such as the digitalization of educational organizations and the teaching of agricultural technologies for adaptation to climate change were also considered. The parties expressed their readiness to support counter-proposals and initiatives in the announced areas, to maintain working contacts on the implementation of the planned joint plans.
