Festive Novruz in Tbilisi with the participation of the Embassy of Turkmenistan
Today, 20 March the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia took part in the festive event on the occasion of Novruz spring holiday in Tbilisi.
The Embassies of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan and Türkiye presented their national dishes, sweets and folk-art products.
The Turkmen pavilion also presented books by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, colourful handmade carpets, paintings, national clothes, jewellery and souvenirs.
Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi K.Guledani, Chairman of Tbilisi City Assembly G.Tkemaladze, as well as Ambassadors congratulated the audience.
In his speech, Ambassador of Turkmenistan D. Seyitmammedov noted that being a symbol of rebirth, blossoming and renewal, Novruz unites peoples and promotes the development of trusting relations. He noted that today's event will be another step in strengthening cultural ties, friendship and mutual understanding between countries and peoples.
He thanked the organizers of the event and wished everyone health, happiness, peace and prosperity.
