Moscow will celebrate International Novruz Day by online marathon


The Russian capital will celebrate International Novruz Day with an extensive program.
As part of the celebration on March 23, an online festival will be held, the live broadcast of which will last six hours. The broadcast will begin at 14.00 and will last until 20.00.
During the broadcast, representatives of various diasporas will be able to familiarize the audience with the characteristics of their national cultures, tell about the cuisune of their peoples, and present traditional outfits within the framework of a fashionable show.
The organizers planned to conduct reports from the regions where they celebrate the Novruz holiday.
A concert with the participation of artists and dance groups will also be held. The hosts of the broadcasts will be People's Artist of Russia Artem Kaminsky, the radio host Nalya Shakhova and actor Sergei Taktarov. Among the concert participants are People's Artist of Russia Lev Leshchenko, People's Artist of Uzbekistan Natalya Nurmukhamedova, People's Artist of Russia Gusel Apanaeva and others.
The online festival will be held with the support of the Department of National Policy and Interregional Relations of Moscow, as well as the national public organizations of the capital and plenipotentiary of the Russian regions celebrating this holiday. As head of the Department of National Policy and Interregional Relations of Moscow Vitaly Suchkov noted, representatives of 14 national organizations participated in its preparation.
In the year of the family announced in Russia, the event will be devoted to family values and continuity of generations.
Last year, the arrival of spring in the capital of the Russian Federation on March 25 was celebrated by the festival “Moscow Novruz 2023”. The six-hour concert program in the online mode watched online 2.5 million spectators.
