Participation of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kyrgyzstan in the event dedicated to International Novruz Day
The Kyrgyz National University named after Zhusup Balasagyn hosted the event “Novruz in the Turkic World” dedicated to the International Day of Novruz.
Delivering a welcoming speech, Ambassador of Turkmenistan Nury Golliyev said that a number of events would be held in Turkmenistan as part of the International Novruz Day. The main celebrations will take place at Novruz Yaýlasy, located in the Ahal region. It is also planned to hold an exhibition of books by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Those present were also informed about important international events that will be held in Turkmenistan this year to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi and the declaration of the city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world.
