Ashgabat celebrated two years since the inauguration of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov
March 19 marked two years since the inauguration of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
At the national presidential elections held in Turkmenistan on March 12, 2022, he won an absolute majority of the votes - 72.97%, and was recognized as the elected president of the country.
And today, in honor of the second anniversary of Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s accession to the highest government post, a concert of art masters was held in the Turkmen capital, at the Ashgabat song and music center.
Among the spectators were members of the government, leaders and representatives of parliament, ministries and public organizations, and foreign diplomats.
The country's masters of art prepared their creative gifts for this significant event, presenting a large concert program to the guests.
The concert program included patriotic literary and theatrical compositions, folk and pop songs, instrumental numbers and choreographic performances. Soloists and creative groups in their performances reflected national traditions and modern trends in the connection between the past and the present, which was especially clearly manifested in the fiery Kushtdepdi dance.
