President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated Vladimir Putin on the occasion of his victory in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation.
"Your next election to this post is an indicator of the high trust shown to you and recognition of your services to the country. I am confident that under your leadership, further prosperity will be achieved in the country's economy, as well as progress and well-being for the entire Russian people. Your professionalism and rich political experience will serve to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation," reads the message, which was read out in the news release of the Turkmen State Television on Monday.
The Head of Turkmenistan noted the high level of Turkmen-Russian relations in a wide range of areas: "We in Turkmenistan highly appreciate your personal contribution to the development of bilateral relations and express our readiness to work together to further enhance cooperation for the benefit of our peoples."
Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished Vladimir Putin good health, prosperity and great success in the highest state post in the name of peace, progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Russian Federation.
