Deputy Prime Minister Rashid Meredov will meet with the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell


Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov will hold talks with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Deputy President of the European Commission Josep Borrell on Tuesday, March 19, in Brussels.
On the same day, Meredov is scheduled to meet with Vice-President of the European Commission Margaritis Schinas and European Commissioner for International Partnerships Jutta Urpilainen.
Rashid Meredov leads the Turkmen delegation during a working visit to the capital of Belgium from March 17-19.
The visit includes meetings with the leadership of international organizations based in Brussels, relevant ministries and departments, trade and economic structures and business circles of Belgium, and a number of European companies.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the agenda of the meetings is focused on issues related to the expansion of Turkmenistan’s interaction at multilateral platforms, the development of political, diplomatic, trade and economic cooperation with Belgium, and building partnerships with European business circles.
