In Turkmenistan, 2,750 people voted in the Russian presidential elections


The turnout for the Russian presidential elections in Turkmenistan at the time the polls closed at 20:00 local time was 2,750 people. TASS reported this, citing the press service of the Russian Embassy in Ashgabat.

In total, there were five polling stations in Turkmenistan: in Ashgabat, Dashoguz, Mary, Turkmenabat and Turkmenbashi. “The Embassy thanked all citizens of the Russian Federation for participating in the vote, noting the warm and friendly atmosphere at all polling stations. The diplomatic institution also expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for its assistance in organizing the elections, which once again confirms the strategic nature of cooperation between the two countries and the deep level of mutual understanding,” TASS writes.
