Turkmen manufacturer of camel wool products establishes the export
Camel wool has a number of unique properties that make it an ideal material for clothing and other products. It is extremely warm, yet lightweight and breathable. It also has antibacterial properties, making it hypoallergenic and suitable for people with sensitive skin.
Camel wool is usually sheared when it is the thickest. The wool is sheared by hand and then sorted by quality. After this, the wool is cleaned, washed and dried.
Camel wool products can be made in a variety of ways, including weaving, knitting and embroidery. Woven products are stronger and more durable than knitted ones. Whereas knitted products tend to be softer and more comfortable.

Products made from camel wool under the brand “Unique Camel Wool” were included in the catalog ‘Women Artisans of Central Asia: A Lookbook Journey’ published by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). This compilation features stunning items produced by 50 Central Asian women artisans of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, showcasing their remarkable craftsmanship to the world, and opening new commercial opportunities for their businesses.
