An international symposium on the study of the heritage of Magtymguly and Turkmen culture in Europe was held at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. The forum was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Austria in order to draw the attention of the European public to the global significance of the work of the great Turkmen poet and thinker and the spiritual values of the Turkmen people.An international symposium on the study of the heritage of Magtymguly and Turkmen culture in Europe was held at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. Authoritative speakers devoted their speeches to various aspects of the works of Magtymguly Pyragy and their actualization in the modern world, research of manuscripts of his poems in European countries, etc., the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Vienna reports.

The Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, Chynar Rustemova, spoke in detail about the inclusion of the manuscripts of Magtymguly Pyragy in the UNESCO World List, stressing that the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Turkmen classic is included in the UNESCO list of memorable dates for 2024-2025.

The conference was attended by ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Austria, members of Parliament, heads of ministries and departments, representatives of leading higher educational institutions and academic circles of Turkmenistan, Austria, Hungary and the Slovak Republic, Turkmen students studying in Austria and other European countries, local media.

During the event, the presentation of the book by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov "Youth is the backbone of the Motherland" took place.
