Ashgabat convenes the media community of the Turkic world
The media forum "Turkmen Land – the center of ancient civilizations" will be held in Ashgabat on March
- The event is timed to coincide with the opening of the program "Anew - the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024" and the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly.
Representatives of the media of the TURKSOY member countries and partner broadcasting organizations are invited to participate in the event. The forum program includes several thematic sessions, including those covering such areas of cooperation in the field of popularization of Turkic culture as digital media, cinematography and animation.
Deputy Prime Minister Mahrijemal Mammedova reported on the preparation of the media forum and its content at a meeting of the Turkmen government on Friday. Excursions to historical monuments, Ashgabat and the city of Arkadag will also be organized for the guests, she added.
The delegates of the media forum will take part in the international tourism conference, which is scheduled for the same days.
