The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan discussed the implementation of agreements with Turkey, including in the energy sector


Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmed Gurbanov met with Turkish Ambassador to Ashgabat Ahmed Demirok on Friday, March 15.
The diplomats discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, including the implementation of documents signed during the official visit of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Turkey in October 2023.

Special attention was paid to the prospects of cooperation in the energy sector in the context of the agreements reached following the talks between Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the Anatolian Diplomatic Forum on March 1, 2024, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
The parties also discussed the participation of delegates from the Turkish side at events planned this year on the occasion of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy and the declaration of the city of Anew as the capital of the Turkic world in 2024.
