Director General of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games Toshiro Muto stated that the next year the Olympic Games can be held with the assistance of the limited number of spectators with a view of prevention of spread of coronavirus infections. Muto added that the head of the International Olympic committee Thomas Bach also does not exclude possibility of smaller audience taking into account social distancing. «We should create conditions in which people will feel safety. Sportsmen and members of the IOC can be demanded a testing before entering Japan», - Director General of the Games told, having underlined that one should be optimistic and believe that all restrictions will be removed by this time and consequently it is necessary to think of other ways. It is necessary to note, organizers of the «Tokyo 2020» were obliged to carry out action in the summer of 2021, without discussing a question of cancellation or postponement of the main sports event. Chairman of the Coordinating Commission for the Olympic Games in Tokyo John Coates stated that the Games will be held irrespective of development of a vaccine for COVID-19.
