The international reading competition “Universe of the Word”, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly, invites
The organizing committee of the VIII Moscow International Arts Festival “Sounds of Dutar” named after Nury Halmamedov announced the start of accepting applications for the reading competition “Universe of the Word”.
The competition is aimed at popularizing the creativity of Magtymguly Fragi and works of Russian literature dedicated to Central Asia and the Middle East, instilling in the younger generation a respectful and careful attitude towards national cultural values, developing an interest in reading and expanding the reader's horizons.
Among the objectives of the competition are the education through poetry and literature of the best human qualities: citizenship, spirituality, patriotism, love and respect for the multinational Motherland, the development of aesthetic taste, reading competence, acting skills, interest in artistic expression in the younger generation, as well as the identification and support of talented children and youth.
Applications are accepted from March 1 to October 1, 2024 inclusive by email: festival.sounds-of-dutar@mail.ru
The competition is held in full-time and correspondence format. The jury includes cultural and artistic figures of the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan, theater and film artists, professors, teachers of theater universities.
