Ramadan Tent opened in Moscow
A Ramadan Tent opened at the Memorial Mosque on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow. The Ramadan Tent is an annual cultural and charitable project organized by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Moscow with the support of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the Moscow Government.
This year, the 19th Ramadan Tent event will be dedicated to the theme of family in accordance with the Year of the Family declared by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Thematic evenings of countries, performances and creative performances of professional national groups will be related to the family, aimed at promoting family values - love for children, respect for parents and elders.
Along with the cultural program, everyone is invited to share a festive iftar dinner here at sunset. In addition, iftar boxes will be distributed. The organizers increase the area of the “Ramadan Tent” year after year, happily welcoming thousands of visitors throughout the month.
On March 27, within the framework of the Ramadan Tent project, the Evening of Turkmenistan will take place.
The project will end with a grandiose family festival, which will be held in the square near the Memorial Mosque on April 13 and 14.
