Polling stations will operate in 144 countries for the Russian presidential elections


During the presidential elections in Russia, which will take place from March 15 to 17, 295 polling stations will operate in 144 countries. This was reported by member of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation Pavel Andreev.
“Outside the territory of the Russian Federation, 295 polling stations have been established in 144 foreign countries, including seven polling stations in the city of Baikonur,” RIA Novosti quotes the speaker.
Four candidates were admitted to the Russian presidential elections: Vladislav Davankov (from the New People Party), Leonid Slutsky (from the LDPR Party), Nikolai Kharitonov (from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation) and Vladimir Putin (as self-nominated).
