Turkmen chess players participate in the first online Chess Olympiad

A team of chess players of Turkmenistan participates in the first online Chess Olympiad. The largest tournament, which will last until August 30, brought together teams from 163 countries, including Russia, China, Armenia, India, Azerbaijan, Poland, the USA, etc. It should be noted that the representatives of China are the absolute winners of the 2018 Olympiad. The tournament is held in response to the postponement of the Chess Olympiad, which would be held in Russia in August this year. Each team participating in the online competition consists of six players in a mixed format. The Turkmen national team was formed of Yusup and Saparmurad Atabayevs, Jemal Ovezdurdyeva, Bakhar Hallaeva, Azat Nurmamedov and Annagozel Mekanova.
