The Turkmen national team arrived in Bishkek for the World Hockey Championship

National teams of Turkmenistan, Thailand, Kyrgyzstan, South Africa, Mexico and Luxembourg gathered in the capital of Kyrgyzstan to participate in the World Hockey Championship in the third division of Group A. The Kyrgyz Ice Hockey Federation reports this.
The competition will last a week, from March 10 to 16, and will be held at the city skating rink Bishkek Arena. It is worth noting that the official opening ceremony will take place immediately after the Turkmenistan-Luxembourg match on March 10.
The Ice Hockey World Championship is held annually starting in 2030. At last year's World Cup in the third division, held in Cape Town, the Turkmenistan team took second place, rising one more position in world qualifications.
