The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan joined the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry


At an extraordinary meeting of the General Assembly of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic Countries, the decision to upgrade the observer status of the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry to full membership was unanimously approved.
The meeting, held online on March 6 under the chairmanship of Rifat Hisarciklioglu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey with the participation of member countries of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry, was dedicated to the development of multilateral cooperation between trade and industrial organizations, improving relations between business entities and bringing them to a new level, according to the TPPT website.
Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkey are also members of the union.
The Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic Countries was created in 2023 on the basis of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Union of Chambers is an international platform created with the aim of developing relationships and cooperation between the countries of the Turkic world.
