A Friendship Group with Central Asian countries was created in the Swedish Parliament


On March 5, the Swedish Parliament, Riksdag held a meeting, dedicated to the creation of the Friendship Group with the countries of Central Asia, Dunyo news agency reported on Saturday.
Head of the Swedish delegation to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Bjorn Söder, has been confirmed as the Chairman of the Friendship Group in the Swedish Parliament.
The meeting discussed issues of the development of political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian areas between Sweden and Central Asia, including the organization of joint activities aimed at further intensifying the dialogue.
As a result of the meeting, there was reached an agreement on organizing online meetings and mutual visits between the leaders and members of the friendship groups with Sweden in the parliaments of the countries of Central Asia and the Friendship Group with the countries of Central Asia in the Riksdag.
